Thoughts on Trello

Trello appeared on this week's tool list with the explanation that it involves collaborative list making. As someone who loves to make lists and relishes the ability to cross out things on my to do list, I knew I had to look into it more. While my time on this tool has been minimal, I like the overall set up. I especially like the collaboration aspect which will be helpful when working with others in a group or on a project. Some aspects of this tool also remind me of pinterest, due to the usage of boards and organizing.
Have you tried Trello yet? What do you think of it?

  1. HI Emily!

Thank you for sharing this tool! Are you considering using it for your Produsage assignment? If so, what are some of the ways you can conceive using it in an educational context? I am keen to know what you think!

    1. Hi Kelvyn! I was considering it for my produsage assignment but honestly I don't think it fits with my plan anymore. I like the overall concept, but the more I play with it I'm not sure how comfortable I really am with it.

  2. I've used Trello as project management software, not my choice, but it worked for what we were doing. It would be good to use on a collaborative project, especially if asynchronous. If you were to use it on a group assignment, it would be great for sharing, seeing what everyone is doing, and how the group is progressing.

    1. Thank you so much for your perspective! That's originally what I thought it would work best for, but I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore.
