Week 5 Reflection
Every time I write my reflections each week, I either feel like we haven't been in class for very long OR that we've all been together forever and have created a small learning pod of people we've never met. It's wild to me how much we've covered in such a short amount of time. It's even wilder how much I've connected with complete strangers. This just goes to show that classroom community and environment is a concept and not something that is bound by four walls. In my opinion the freedom of direction in this course has led to more genuine interactions and exploratory learning than I've ever experienced before. I feel as if I am collaborating with people I've known forever, and look forward to new updates on our twitter hashtag. This is something I wish more courses incorporated into their learning process, as it has made a world of difference in my engagement and understanding.
Hi Emily, I agree :) I've heard that some of our early blog posts were similar in nature and thought it was about time that I drop a line to you. I also noticed your initials are EKD, which mine are ELK...that E & K...even more in common! Might I ask what your initial K stands for? Just curious. I also agree that we're all connected and done so more than in other classes. Are you on Instagram? I'm not sure if I am following you there but I know some of our names are different in social spots...
ReplyDeleteHi Emily! I've been meaning to comment on your blog too. My middle name is Kathryn, which is what the K in my blog stands for. You can follow me on instagram @the_dunkelator and @thedailydunks, I follow back!!
